It all started one Friday morning over breakfast. Everyone was in good spirits because it was officially the end of the Summer and it was time to enjoy being able to walk around Dubai and dine al fresco.
Chef Izu, the man responsible for taking the dining scene in Dubai to a whole new level was working on a number of projects when he decided he wanted a team. A team curated based not only on expertise and skills but also personality and dedication to push harder, delivering the very best in everything they do.
Once the team had been picked, we needed a name. Although Chef Izu doesn’t look a day over 30, he was born in 1977 and not only strategically named to encourage the question “why YSeventy7”, but also because a lot of what we do, we ask “why?”. For investors wanting to launch an F&B concept, we ask “why?”. If an existing F&B concept is failing, we ask “why?” as a team and come up with solutions.
